VolunTECH: Second Transnational Project Meeting to Strengthen Youth Volunteering through Digital Innovation

On October 2 and 3, 2025, the second Transnational Meeting of the Erasmus+ Project VolunTECH: Virtual and Technological Volunteering as a Tool for Promoting Civic Values and Social Entrepreneurship, funded by the European Commission, was held in Paris.
Coordinated by the Volunteering Platform of the Valencian Community (Spain), VolunTECH brings together an international collaboration composed of Associació Esplai Social (Spain), Balkan Bridge EOOD (Bulgaria), Learning Unit Malta (Malta), Itinéraires: Destination Europe (France), SCiFY (Greece), and Mimma Dreams APS (Italy).
During the first day, we shared the results achieved so far: the development of training courses for digital volunteers and organizations, useful for acquiring digital skills that enhance personal growth, professional development, and the quality of the volunteering experience. This was followed by the design of the Toolkit for Youth Associations, a practical resource with templates and video tutorials to help organizations engage young people in online volunteering.
The second day was dedicated to designing the VolunTECH platform, an innovative digital space that will connect volunteers, associations, and social enterprises across Europe. The goal is to create an active, accessible, and sustainable network capable of improving virtual volunteering experiences and fostering new collaborations.
